Dreams of Eden

Dreams of Eden

Perfect. Smooth.  Beautiful.  Peaceful.  Quiet.  Serene.  Relaxing.  And I could go on and on.  Just like the Garden of Eden, “Eden Road” would be dreamy to drive on.  No potholes, no lane closures, no thinning of lanes, no construction, no splits, no accidents, no speeding, no road rage, no rubber necking, no cutting off, drivers that are polite, pay attention, no texting, no phones, no putting on make-up, no shaving, no eating and on and on and on.  I don’t know if “Eden Road” exists anywhere in the world.  I know, for sure, it doesn’t exist in the state of New Jersey.  In fact, I believe every major highway, the parkway and turnpike, north, south, east, or west, and every local road has repairs, construction, or is falling apart.  No wonder road rage is so prevalent.  More time is wasted sitting and waiting and waiting and waiting to get to your desired destination.  There seem to be more cars than space available on this earth.  Facing the roads makes me shudder.  I see no end to the nightmare (or light at the end of the tunnel – pardon the pun).

Excuse me, I think I will return to my dreams of “Eden”…………

What do you think?  (Shhhhhh, say it quietly)
