On Saturday, December 3rd, Applause Africa will host the Sixth Annual African Diaspora Awards (ADA) at the premier Florence Gould Hall, located in New York City to celebrate Africans who have impacted and inspired the African community within the U.S. and around the world. Honorees include Jessica Matthews, Babatunde Osotimehin, Joseph Mizzi & Nchimunya Wulf, Ato Essandoh, Luvvie Ajayi, Georgie Badiel, and Mamadou Samba.

Applause Africa Magazine is a quarterly published print lifestyle platform for the progressive African in the Diaspora. The African Diaspora Awards will bring together an extraordinary array of influencers including musicians, artists, actors, entrepreneurs, corporations and other exemplary African’s of the Diaspora and their friends. This event has become the “Who’s Who” of meaningful and powerful leadership in the Diaspora.

Past honorees and special guests include Danai Jekesai Gurira, Akon and Thione Niang, Gbenga Akinnagbe, David Tlale, YaYa DaCosta, Atti Worku, Leymah Gbowee, Tony Okungbowa, Kennedy Odede and Lola Ogunnaike.
